AUCKLAND WIDE DELIVERY

No vase? No worries!

Do you find it hard to throw away cute products packaging?! I do and I saved my Dose & Co collagen container knowing I would use it someday.

There are so many ways to reuse containers and turn them into the perfect vessel for your fresh blooms. Let me show you step by step one way you can achieve that.

You will need:

  • A clean recycled container
  • A plastic bag which could be a zip lock bag or freezer bag
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Your favourite flowers

The flowers I used were a spray of roses, carnations, milano ruscus and alstro florinca.

Step 1: Line the inside of the container with the plastic bag. Depending on the container you can tape the plastic to the side or leave as is

Step 2: Add water

Step 3: Make a grid with the tape. Depending on the size and the structure you want you can make a small grid like I have or more of a hashtag grid.

Step 4: Start inserting your flowers through the gaps and make sure there are no leaves touching the water so the water stays cleaner for longer

Step 5: Look at your beautiful creation and take heaps of photos! The perfect part of this type of display is you can practice your arrangement and easily change it.
